Who is MIMA?
Founded in 1998, the Minnesota Interactive Marketing Association has over 1,200 members from agency, corporate and freelance environments in a wide variety of interactive fields. MIMA believes fundamental changes in technology and culture have transformed business, and it is MIMA’s role to connect, illuminate, and partner with members and guests to elevate the quality of marketing practiced, the image, and talent available in Minnesota to the rest of the world – to challenge the status quo – to inspire innovation and fuel relevant change that benefits our membership in their professional and personal lives. Who is the MIMA Summit for?
Anyone working in marketing, advertising, interactive, design and technology. Our programming bridges and connects all of these disciplines—with a goal of elevating the work and thought-leadership produced around Minnesota.
How many years has the MIMA Summit been in existence?
Ten. Our first Summit was in 2001.
The 2010 Summit is over. Where can I find videos and presentations?
First, thanks everyone for attending what was arguably the best MIMA Summit ever! We’re neck deep in collecting and editing all of the videos and speaker presentations. (Many of our 2010 speakers have already uploaded their goods to Slideshare and elsewhere, so you might want to check with Mr. & Mrs. Google.) Meanwhile, we are editing all of the session videos, and are working out plans to make them public. Rest assured, they will be available, but we’re working through agreements and other legal issues.
